Canine and Feline FH Preset - With Wings!

Description

I saw [link] and I thought it might be a good idea to make the presets be updated, so they can have wings. I hope this is helpful! Please read below for more information.

DOWNLOAD HERE: [link]

NOTE 1: since this preset is made for characters that have wings (you don't have to use the wing preset if you don't want your character to have wings) I would recommend choosing which type of wing you want your character to have. In the download, there are two wing files. One named "preset_12equip angelwings" and one named "preset_12equip batwings" you should choose if you want your character to have bat wings or angel wings. I don't really see much of a difference in appearance, but that's how the preset is. Once you choose which one you're using, delete the other.
ex. you chose "angelwings". Delete the batwings file, and rename "preset_12equip angelwings" to "preset_12equip" hope that's not too confusing ^^;

EDIT for NOTE 1: I've also added another tail file. There are now two tail files; "preset_12tail canine" and "preset_12tail feline" The instructions for choosing which tail file you're using are the same as how you choose your wing file.

NOTE #2: DO NOT CHANGE THE NAMES OF THE FILES. THEY MUST REMAIN THE SAME. I've tried to rename mine, but I messed it up and got confused. It's easier to just leave the files with their current names.

NOTE #3: You have to have the most recent FH patch installed for the wings to work. If you want to find out if you have the most recent patch, navigate to local disc c >> feralheart >> my_presets >> reference. If it has this [link] then you're good to go. If it doesn't, download and install the patch from here: [link]

NOTE #4: THIS IS IMPORTANT AS WELL! All the files in the download are .png files. If you want the files to work in your game, once you're done colouring everything, make sure to save all the files (BESIDES the "preset_11mane" file) as a .jpg. ONLY the mane file remains a .png. (I had mine all as .png files and it didn't work until i changed them to .jpg.)

Ok, so here it is. The FeralHeart presets with wings!

Here's what you have to do to get it into your game.

1. Navigate to Local Disc (C) >> Feralheart >> my_presets >> preset_12.

2. Unzip the preset_12 folder from the download and copy it into your "my_presets" folder. Once it asks you if you want to replace the old preset_12 folder, click yes.

3. Open a program such as photoshop (i think photoshop might be best for this, but any other programs that have layers and transparency will do as well) and open one of the UV maps in the preset_12 folder. Start colouring on a NEW LAYER and make sure the new layer is underneath the UV map layer. The lines are just guides so you know where it will bend and fold once it is put in the game (if that makes sense). If you don't quite understand, go to "my_presets" and then click on reference and there is some help there.

4. Start colouring on your new layer, making it look like your character or whatever you want it to look like. Be sure to colour a bit out of the lines, because in the game, it may leave a bit of white spots/specks on your preset.

5. once you're done colouring everything as you desire, delete the UV map layer, and save your colour layer as whatever it was.
ex. you started to colour "preset_12head" and you're done colouring, delete the UV map layer and save your picture as "preset_12head". MAKE SURE TO SAVE IT AS A .jpg. REMEMBER THAT!!!

6. Once you're done colouring all your UV maps and your preset_12 folder looks a bit like this: [link] (sorry I watermarked it so no one would take it) then you should be done.

7. Open your feralheart game, click "tools" and go to preset maker. Scroll down and find "preset_12" click it and it should appear as the character you designed. If it doesn't work, you either did something wrong, or I explained something wrong. Tell me if you have any problems, and I'll try my best to help you work it out. (:

Once added into the game, you can add any necessary changes like eye size, muzzle size, ear size, etc. If you're confused as how to colour it, go to my_presets >> preset_1 or preset_2 as guidance. Happy FeralHeart-ing! x3

Feel free to ask any questions if you're confused/not sure how to do something! Don't hesitate to ask, I don't bite xD

Hey, I'm just wondering, are the canine and feline heads the same? I thought they were different, but the presets I've tried to download only have one head, so I guess I'm a little confused.
